PLN

I would use a PLN to make connections with teachers across the country. I think it will be very useful to obtain information from experienced teachers. I am sure that as a first year teacher, I will have many questions regarding lesson plans and how to teach a particular lesson or subject. Having a PLN, will enable me to connect with other teachers effectively and easily. It will be like having many mentor teachers at my fingertips.

A PLN could also be beneficial to connect with experts on special education from around the world. There are so many new studies and strategies that would be very useful and helpful to know when working with students with special needs and having the opportunity to get feedback from experts will help me feel more sure and secure about the lesson plans that I create with the proper accommodations and modifications.

It will also be nice to have a PLN to share strategies and ideas with other teachers that have already puts those thoughts into practice and seen the results. It will be like having a practice run on an activity or lesson. I think it is a great way to find out what truly works in the classroom and why. I think it will reduce the amount of mistakes and improve the execution of lessons overall.
